Some cats are friendly and loving while others are aloof and haughty. One advantage of owning almost any type of cat is that cats are funny creatures. We’re used to thinking of small kittens are bouncy and hilarious but, if you catch an older cat which has lowered its reserve, it can be funny too. The Internet is full of videos and pictures of funny cats doing all sorts of silly things — taking the family parakeet for a ride on its back, stalking a shadow, pushing dogs into the pool and even stealing food at the family picnic. Most people who believe that cats are unaffectionate don’t actually own a cat — cat owners tend to talk for hours about how their funny cat brings them hours of pleasure and relaxation. Bringing almost any type of pet into the household is a plus, but cats offer one of the highest levels of enjoyment and loving fun.

I am one of those people who swear by routine. I try not to let routine rule my life but even after a really enjoyable vacation, I am always happy to get back to my daily routine. If you were to ask me what my favourite part of the day was then I would have to say that hands down, my favourite part of the day is the hour or so in the morning when I eat breakfast until I leave the house for work. The reason that I love this hour of the day so much is that I get to take part in one of my most favourite activities. Whilst I am munching on my cereal I will take out my latest book of complex mazes and attempt to work my way out of a maze.
